Emma Bundy, Director of Marketing at the American group GreatNonprofits, has asked MyShtetl.co.za to extend an invitation to all SA Jewish Women's groups to enter their global “2010 Women's Empowerment Campaign.”
The only problem is that you need to get on board quickly. The first round involves registering and then getting ten reviews posted by May 31. Not much time at all.
If you do manage, however, your organisation will be “included in the GreatNonprofits Top-Rated Women's Empowerment Nonprofits List and will receive significant exposure to donors and volunteers in the media and through the campaign partners,” says Emma.
The Women's Empowerment Campaign is a joint effort of GreatNonprofits, GuideStar, the National Organization for Women, Kiva, the Anita Borg Institute for Women and Technology, MADRE, Wider Opportunities for Women, Dress for Success, Women's Media Center, Women News Network, Women's Philanthropy, Women's Issues, and World Pulse.
More than 100 nonprofits serving and empowering women have received user reviews from their clients, volunteers, donors, and other stakeholders during the first week of the Women's Empowerment Campaign.
