Beyachad Libraries invite members of the community to the launch of a new book by David Mordant called: Creators of the Rosetta Stones: Jewish Nobel laureates 1901 to 2005

In today's competitive world the winning of a Nobel Prize is very highly regarded. The main criterion is that the work is of benefit to mankind.

Of the 762 individual Nobel Prize winners over this 105 year period, almost 21% are Jewish. David will talk on some of the characteristics common to many of the laureates, illustrating these with anecdotes about them.

It’s all happening at Beyachad on Sunday 16 May. It starts at 2:30 for 3pm and Tea, coffee and biscuits will be served.

Booking is essential. Call Norma on 011 645-2567 by Friday 14 May or e-mail her at library@beyachad.co.za.

The book would make a wonderful gift, or an excellent addition to any home collection and will be available for purchase at the launch.
