Six SA events for Toronto

The South African Jewish Association of Canada (SAJAC) have planned six events in Toronto over the next few months. They are open to expiates of all ages and SA visitors to Canada. Contact SAJAC’s Social Secretary, Rita Witkin, at 416 225-0865.
SEPT 18 (SUNDAY) at Banbury at 2. This is a special function to honour the memory of the late Les Teeger who did wonderful work for SAJAC. The charge is $7 per person payable at the door and they expect a record attendance to show support. A similar function to honour the memory of the late Max Rabinowitz will be held next year.
OCT 16 (SUNDAY) at Banbury. $10 per person. SAJAC’s annual Israel Day collection gathering. The Toronto Jewish Male Choir will be performing a fabulous speaker is expected.
NOV 1 (TUESDAY) HELLO DOLLY AT STRATFORD. $55 per person. The critics have given this show an excellent review and praised the singing, dancing and costumes.
NOV 20 (SUNDAY) at Banbury at 2. YORK MINSTREL SHOW, CHOIR. They are excellent.
DEC 18 (SUNDAY) 12.30 at Banbury. CHANUKA LUNCH.
JAN 8 (SUNDAY) at Banbury. SAJAC annual general meeting. There is no charge and SAJAC say it “is essential that you all attend. Without you there is no SAJAC. Please do not let your committee down.” Suppose you better all be there, then.
