The Beth Din has sent out an appeal to the community asking for our feedback and assistance so that they can make Pesach 2011 the best ever!

Remember that Pesach is just eight days to us, but it takes EIGHT MONTHS OF HARD WORK for the Beth Din and their Kashrut Department to put it all together.

So, don’t say “I’ll do it later.” These guys work really hard for us, so take a few minutes to show your appreciation by looking over the following questions, clicking the e-mail link, and RESPOND.

And, if you feel everything was perfect, even more reason to give them the feedback and share your appreciation for their efforts.

The Letter from the Beth Din Reads as follows:

We hope that you had a good Pesach.

We would appreciate your feedback so as to help us improve for next year.

What products did you like?

What products did you not like?

What products could you not find in your area?

What would you like to see for next year?

We added features to our Pesach Guide (Haggadah, recipes, medicine list, times for more areas etc.) – did you find the guide and its new features useful?

Any other comments/issues/suggestions?

Simply click here reply to the Beth Din: kashrutnotice@uos.co.za

We thank you for your input!

I thought we all said "NEXT

I thought we all said "NEXT YEAR IN JERUSALEM".

You first. DS

Darren; You know very well

Darren; You know very well that I did make Aliyah (in 2005).
Unfortunate circumstances have made me "interrupt" my Aliyah.
I am not a hypocrite, and would never promote Aliyah "fraudently"

Fair enough, so for those

Fair enough, so for those who are in the "unfortunate" situation where they can't make aliyah in the next year, it may be prudent to plan for them, don't you think?

I abhor hypocricy! Chabad

I abhor hypocricy!
Chabad and other groups are fundementally anti-Zionist.
They "scream" Mashiach Now, and "Next year in Jerusalem" (which entails the immediate ingathering of exiles), and at the same time plan for an indefinite future in exile.
Vast amounts of money is spent on new community centres all over the Diaspora sttrengthening the exile. The sad truth is that most of the wonderful S.AFrican Jewish community (especially the young Religious ones) have no intention of leaving the comfortable exile.
There are genuine "unfortunate" Jews who cannot make Aliyah, but these are a small minority.
