After extensive time and effort, the Beth Din has compiled a comprehensive list of medications and their kosher status in regards to Pesach.

Our Pesach sub-site, Pesachdik Medicines 2010, has the complete Beth Din list of 568 Pesachdik medications. To make it easier for users, each of the medications can be searched for in the on-site search function. This is another example of the SA Beth Din ensuring they remain at the forefront of technological innovation.

“The Kashrut Division has analysed an extensive range of the most commonly prescribed and used medications for use on Pesach,” says the Beth Din.

The Kashrut department also add the following caveat for the kosher community: “The sheer number of different medications available makes it impossible to list each and every alternative."

In all cases, they warn, "DO NOT make any changes to your normal prescribed medication without first consulting with your doctor and Rabbi.”
